LIFANTOU
Graphic Design & Marketing Intern
During a semester in Dakar, Senegal, I interned with Lifantou, SAS, a social startup connecting local food producers to children in the city. In the first months of 2020, I assisted in the kitchen where delicious, fresh meals were prepared for delivery and took photos and videos of business activities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked to remotely design a branded banner, above, and marketing e-mailers for Lifantou’s drop shipping partners, below.
Branded banner [2020] shows Lifantou's operations from food production and preparation to children in school. Intentional inclusion of thieboudjienne, the national plate of Senegal, and no words for easy translation between countries and regions.
